The Dyson DC25 Animal, rested with Dyson’s Ball technology, this fine upright vacuum cleaner easily corners, twists and turns around furniture or any other obstacles. The DC25 Animal does it very thoroughly and it doesn’t care what kind of surface it needs to clean! Instead of Animal I nicknamed it ‘The Beast’. It can almost get any angle and because of the DC25’s great suction power there’s no need for tiresome back-and-forth vacuuming. Dyson’s ball design hides the DC25’s powerful engine, giving it a low center of gravity and therefore easy maneuverability. The Dyson DC25 is specially designed for homes with pets. This upright is equipped with a motorized brushbar featuring powerful bristles to remove dirt and pet hair from carpets, while the mini turbine head intensively cleans confined spaces such as furniture, drapes, stairs and also your car. Another great feature is the quick-draw Telescope Reach wand. This gives you a reach expansion of 16 feet making it easy to clean your stairs, drapes, upholstery and more. In fact, the air expelled from a Dyson has up to 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you breathe, and all Dyson uprights are certified asthma friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America isn’t that wonderful! The Dyson DC25 Animal has a somewhat small hygienic 1/3-gallon bin but as it empties easily and quickly this shouldn’t a big problem. The good thing about emptying the bin is that you can do it without ever having to touch the dust, just press the button and dust empties from the bottom into your plastic bag. As the bin is made of clear polycarbonate you can easily see how the cleaning progress goes and directlu see when it needs to be emptied. After using this wonderful upright on my hard wooden floors I was really amazed with it’s suction power. It sucks in dirt lying far in front of the vacuum saving you time as there is no need for vacuuming any spot twice! On the carpet it does an amazing job also, after vacuuming with our old vacuum (a Nillfisk) which we thought was a powerfull vacuum the Dyson DC25 Animal managed to fill up a quarter of the bin on a a big 16 by 13 ft. carpet. Having 2 cats and a dog, all long haired we directly decided to get one ourselves!

Awesome. This new generation fixes all the problems of the previous. Much smarter, much bigger dust bin, much better in every way. Great that it self-docks when tired. Maintanence is a snap…really could not be easier/faster. There are some negatives – how could there not be? – but this thing has such a contagious personality that it starts feeling like your pet, and you’re inclined to forgive, and even find the faults charming.
